Barney joined Neudata's research team in 2021, where he is responsible for uncovering new datasets across a range of sectors including ESG, digital and consumer-oriented landscapes. Previously, Barney spent three years at an executive search firm executing mandates across ESG, distribution, investment roles.He holds an MA in History from the University of St Andrews.

Barry Dauber runs global GenAI GTM at Databricks coming over in 2023 as part of the MosaicML acquisition.

Barry drives GenAI adoption at Databricks enabling our customers and partners to leverage the full Mosaic AI product line allowing them to build AI systems utilizing their data. At MosaicML, Barry was responsible for all of GTM and grew the business from zero customers to many in less than a year helping to contribute to the $1.3B acquisition.

Prior to Mosaic, Barry was the first head of GTM at a leading NLP startup, Primer AI, where he was VP of Sales. He also held various leadership roles at Cloudera and Topsy Labs (acquired by Apple in 2013).  He started his career in management consulting at Deloitte where he focused on large business transformations.

Barry graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Economics and Government.

Cathy Tanimura is Vice President of Analytics and Data Science at Summit Partners. She works closely with the Summit team and portfolio companies to help create and execute strategies that effectively use data and analytics to drive better decisions and build better products. Previously she led data teams at Strava, Okta, and Zynga. She is also the author of the book SQL for Data Analysis: Advanced Techniques for Transforming Data into Insights.

Chad Gray currently serves as Vice President of Data Science at Silver Lake. In this role, Chad leads Silver Lake’s efforts to integrate alternative data into pre-investment and post-investment activities. Chad has been active in the alternative data industry since 2008, when he launched Tech Channel Index, a real-time indicator of B2B and B2C tech spending.

Prior to joining Silver Lake, Chad held investing, operating, and leadership roles in quant hedge funds and SaaS tech companies. He has been involved in the alternative data industry since 2008 when he Chad earned an M.B.A. from MIT Sloan School of Management, an M.S. in Computer Science from MIT, a B.S. in Engineering from Northwestern University, and is a CFA charterholder.

Daryl is Head of Research at Neudata. He and his team are responsible for researching and discovering alternative datasets for a wide range of asset managers and corporations worldwide.

Prior to Neudata, Daryl spent five years as an equity research analyst at boutique investment firm Liberum across a number of sectors including Agriculture, Chemicals and Diversified Financials.

Prior to Liberum, Daryl worked at Goldman Sachs as an equity derivatives analyst and regulatory reporting strategist. Daryl holds a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath and is a CFA charterholder.

Dean is responsible for leading, developing and expanding Neudata’s events programme.Having spent the last decade creating, building and scaling conference and content businesses within the FinTech and Energy sectors, Dean has worked with some of the most recognisable global brands on B2B events of all sizes. Dean co-founded two conference companies in 2013 and exited through acquisition in early 2020.Dean holds a BA Hons degree in Theatre and Performance Studies from Warwick University.

Evan Barry is the founder and CEO of Dewey Data, a database for academics to access datasets from dozens of industry-leading data vendors for their research. Dewey has helped thousands of researchers from over 300 universities worldwide access data from companies like Coinbase, Similarweb, WageScape, People Data Labs, SafeGraph and more.

Before founding Dewey, Evan was the VP of Marketing at SafeGraph, where he helped build and manage a consortium that provided free data access to academic researchers during COVID-19. Evan holds a BS and MS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.

Guy is a resilience specialist, who focusses on supporting organisations with their operational and organisational resilience requirements, predominantly in the financial services sector. Prior to joining Deloitte Guy spent over ten years as an officer in the British Army.

Guy specialises in optimising organisations to use intelligence and be better prepared to respond to disruptions and make strategic decisions, with a particular focus on horizon scanning, scenario design, scenario testing/exercising and operating model transformation.

Hem Wadhar joined Sequoia in 2016, where he leads the Data Science practice. Before Sequoia, Hem was at Palantir Technologies, where he spearheaded multiple projects in the media and consumer packaged goods sectors. He also provided analytic oversight across the commercial business and founded Palantir's commercial data science team. Hem holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from UCLA and a B.A. in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Pennsylvania.
