Laura Misher is a Vice President and Head of Business Development in Data & Insights for S&P Market Intelligence. In her role, she is responsible for the commercial strategy and business growth of the comprehensive suite of cross-asset market data, analytics and valuation services, ETF data management and trading services, and company and industry level information products.  

Laura joined S&P Global as a result of the merger with IHS Markit in 2022.  She had been at IHS Markit since 2008 and held a variety of roles within Product Development, Product Services and Business Development for our Pricing, Valuations and Reference Data businesses. Prior to that, Laura worked as a securitization analyst at Deloitte.  Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Rutgers University.

Mark Carhart is the Chief Investment Officer and a founding partner of Kepos Capital LP. Prior to founding Kepos in 2010, Mark was a Partner and the Co-Chief Investment Officer of the Quantitative Investment Strategies Group at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, and prior to GSAM he was an Assistant Professor at the Marshall School of Business at USC and a Senior Fellow at The Financial Institutions Center at The Wharton School. Mark’s publications include articles in The Journal of Finance, The Review of Financial Studies and the Financial Analysts Journal, and he received the FAJ’s Graham and Dodd Award in 2014. He is also a co-author of Modern Investment Management: An Equilibrium Approach. Mark earned a B.A. from Yale University in 1988, became a CFA Charterholder in 1991 and received his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 1995. He serves on the non-profit board of InTandem Cycling and investment committees for the Convent of the Sacred Heart New York and the Aldrich Museum.

Michelle M. Weaver is an Executive Director and Morgan Stanley Research’s US Thematic Strategist. She also covers US Equity Strategy with Mike Wilson, with whom she has worked since 2017. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics & Management and Environmental & Sustainability Sciences. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Currently the Head of Data Strategy at Jump Trading, a quantitative trading firm. At Jump, Stewart drives the Data Strategy Group to remain on the vanguard of current data-sphere and research methods. Stewart also collaborates with Jump Capital, Jump's venture capital endeavor, to seek out promising investment opportunities in the FinTech space. In the 19 years prior to joining Jump in mid-2017, Stewart has held similar roles at PDT Partners, Cubist Systematic Strategies, and HBK Capital Management.

Adam is a Partner at Pinegrove Capital Partners, where he leads the data science group. In this role, Adam is responsible for spearheading research and development of advanced analytics solutions.

Previously, Adam lead Berkshire Partners’ data science group. In this role, Adam harnessed internal and external data in public and private equity investing and drove data science and engineering initiatives across the investment lifecycle: algorithmic sourcing, data-driven due diligence, and portfolio company value creation.

Prior to joining Berkshire, Adam worked as a Research Scientist at Harvard Medical School’s Predictive Medicine Group. In this capacity, he developed advanced predictive models in Medicine and Pharma. Adam’s background as a Data Scientist spans various sectors, employing advanced computational methods and artificial intelligence in steering strategic decisions and crafting innovative, data-driven solutions.

Adam is an MIT System Design and Management Fellow. He received a B.A. from Harvard University and an M.S. from MIT.

Aditya Sharma, CFA is an Director for product management of Alpha Signals at S&P Global Market Intelligence, a solution catering to client needs for quantitative data, factors, models, and research.

Aditya is a quantitative product specialist who joined S&P Global in April 2021. Previously, he has held Data Science and Strategy roles with global remit at Western Union Business Solutions in London and Social Market Analytics, Inc in Chicago. Aditya has worked closely on projects involving machine learning and natural language processing application in Finance.

Aditya holds a Master of Science Degree in Finance from Illinois Institute of Technology, United States and Bachelor of Technology Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology, India. He is a current member of CFA UK Society.

Alex Izydorczyk was most recently Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cybersyn, a data-as-a-service (DaaS) company that aims to make the world's data transparent to businesses. He was previously the Head of Data Science at Coatue. Alex is interested in data and data systems that can aid in practical decision making.

Alexios Beveratos is a Managing Director and Deputy Head of Alpha Research, focusing on models related to alternative data. He joined CFM in 2012 in the Statistical Arbritrage program. Prior to his career in the financial sector, he worked for 12 years in fundamental research in physics, holding a PhD in quantum information.

Her thematic focus includes Emerging & Frontier Markets and Sustainable Investing. Asha is a market maker and investment pioneer. She managed the world’s first Frontier markets fund as well as the first institutional actively managed Emerging Markets Fossil Fuel Free fund. She launched one of the earliest onshore China strategies in the United States. Separately, Asha led the first quantitative investor to become a signatory to the United Nations’ Principles for Responsible Investing, which now oversees more than $100 trillion in investment assets. She was previously an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and Lead Portfolio Manager and Director of Responsible Investing at Acadian Asset Management. She has traveled to over 80 countries and lived in six.

Asha was named one of the Top 10 Women in Asset Management by Money Management Executive and profiled as a “Brilliant Quant” by Forbes magazine. She is a supporter of several related organizations, including Compass Working Capital and 100 Women in Finance.

Asha holds an MBA with Honors from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a B.S., Biological Sciences, and A.B., Anthropology, from Stanford University. She lives between Boston and Florida with her husband, two young boys, and baby girl.
