  • Amanda Widjaja

    Norwest Venture Partners

    VP, Data Science & Engineering

    Amanda joined Norwest in 2019 to lead the firm’s internal data science and engineering efforts and provide advisory services to Norwest portfolio companies in the areas of analytics and engineering.

    Prior to Norwest, Amanda led Data Engineering efforts for the AR/VR Metaverse team at Facebook. Earlier in her career, Amanda was a Business Intelligence Engineer at PitchBook and founded a multi-unit F&B chain, Bagel Bagel, in Indonesia.

    Amanda earned a bachelor of arts in business administration, with a focus in finance and entrepreneurship, from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.

    Artemiza has over 15 years of investment management experience.   Before co-founding Integrated Quantitative Investments,  Artemiza was most recently a quantitative researcher at Man Numeric. Her research efforts focused on alpha signals, data processing, and model construction. Prior to joining Man Numeric in 2015, Artemiza was at Russell Investments for over a decade, where, as senior researcher, she focused on quantitative manager selection. Artemiza has taught courses in finance, economics and statistics at the University of Washington and the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Artemiza has a PhD in finance from University of Washington, and an MSc and BSc(Hons) in mathematics from University of Auckland.  Her academic research focused on asset pricing and portfolio optimization. She has published in prestigious academic journals such as the Journal of Finance, Journal of Portfolio Management, and Management Science.
