Michael leads the corporate client group at Neudata.  He and his team work tirelessly to help corporate clients effectively identify and source external data from thousands of data vendors.  Michael has over twenty years of senior leadership experience at companies where he drove digital transformation and data-driven culture.  Most recently Michael ran sales and marketing at alternative data provider Sequentum, Inc.

Michael received his MBA from the Columbia Business School in New York.

Nico Hoff is the Head of Revenue for Oxford DataPlan, an Alternative Data company using unique and exclusive data sources to deliver KPI trackers for 180+ companies.

Nico has vast experience in SaaS and has led various commercial leadership positions.  He also holds an MBA and is interested in data-based decision-making.

Nigel is a Partner at PwC within their Deals business. He leads the data analytics and financial modelling practice, steering a diverse team of over 100 experts. They merge core financial insights with advanced data science and innovative alternative data sources to optimise deal-making and enhance business performance throughout the deal cycle. Nigel sits on PwC's Global Deal Analytics Leadership team and leads PwC Deal's Alternative Data capability. With over 25 years of deep analytical and commercial experience, including five years working in industry for GE Capital, Nigel has amassed a range of deal modelling, business planning, debt restructuring, and advisory experience. He combines these with advanced analytics, data, and modelling skills to help his clients make better decisions. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds an M.A. in Chemistry from the University of Oxford.

Philippe started his career at HSBC in Paris in 2005 focusing on structured finance. He moved to London in 2006 and joined a rising financial market data company called Markit, which became IHS-Markit in 2016 and is now part of S&P Global since 2020.

During his 14 years at Markit Philippe was responsible for the creation and commercialisation of various successful data pricing products and indices focusing on credit trading such as CDS, ABX and iBoxx.

In 2016, thanks to the merger between Markit and IHS, Philippe started getting exposure to new markets focusing on commodities and transportation.

In 2020 Philippe joined Shipfix at an early stage of its creation as Head of Alternative data to create new innovative data products in order to bring more transparency and liquidity to the commodity and freight markets. Shipfix is part of Veson Nautical since January 2024.

Phillip Chapple is the COO of Monterone Partners LLP. He has been involved in the financial services industry since 1997. From 2010 to 2015 Mr. Chapple was the founder of the London branch of KB Associates where he focused on assisting fund managers to build investor friendly operational infrastructures and prepare for investor due diligence. Prior to joining KB Associates, Mr. Chapple was CFO/COO of Ironshield Capital Management LLP, a European Distressed investment management company. Previously he was COO at IBIS Asset Management, a $10bn family office, and Head of Operations at OLEA Capital. Mr. Chapple had commenced his career at Morgan Stanley before spending a number of years in prime brokerage at both Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch. Mr. Chapple holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours (LLB) from Exeter University.

Piers is the CTO of Neudata. Before joining Neudata, Piers held a range of technical leadership roles, most recently for Bank of America Merrill Lynch and UBS. Positions included Head of Research Data technology at UBS and Head of Global Markets Finance technology at BofAML. In addition to leading development teams in the financial services industry, Piers has also built teams and systems in domains including military aircraft, telecoms and network management.

Piers holds a BEng in Microelectronics from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Rainbow Chik has built two Data teams and has 8+ years of industry experience leveraging alternative data for fundamental research across equity and credit investments. She is currently the Director of Data Insight & ESG Analytics at GoldenTree Asset Management, a $50B credit hedge fund based out of New York City, and has founded a centralized Data team that manages end-to-end alternative data pipelines and integration, from data acquisition, enrichment to analytics.

Through partnering with 60+ investors across the firm, her team delivers data insights that answer bespoke investment questions that help strengthen idea generation, investment due diligence and monitoring of portfolio holdings. Recently, she also started the ESG Analytics practice at GoldenTree to deepen the firm’s understanding of portfolio ESG risks and opportunities.

Previously, Rainbow also co-founded the Investment Insights team at Orbis Investments, a $30B equity fund with investments across US, Europe and Asia. She graduated from Columbia Business School with an M.B.A. (Dean’s Honor with Distinction) specializing in Value Investing and Data Analytics. She also holds a B.Com in Finance and Economics from University of Toronto – Rotman School of Management (Distinction).

Sanne de Boer is Co-Head of Quantitative Equities at Voya Investment Management where he is jointly responsible for the equities team quantitative research agenda as well as portfolio management for a suite of active multi-factor, smart-beta, thematic, and index funds. Prior to joining the firm, he was a senior research analyst for quantitative strategies for Invesco. Previously, he was a research analyst for global quantitative equities at QS Investors as well as ING Investment Management, Voya’s predecessor firm. Sanne’s research has been published in the Journal of Asset Management, the Journal of Index Investing, and the Journal of Investing. He received a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Mathematics and an M.A. in Econometrics cum laude from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Sebastian Schneider is Quantitative Researcher at Robeco’s Quant Equity Research team. His areas of expertise include stock selection research with a focus on alternative data and natural language processing (NLP). Sebastian has a Master’s in Finance from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor’s in Economics from University of Graz. He is also a CFA® charterholder.
