The ability to leverage new datasets is an increasingly important differentiator for investment managers to stay ahead of the competition. While newer and unproven datasets have their own onboarding and trialling challenges, mapping difficulties and data evaluation hurdles, the desire for the investment management vertical to uncover new datasets to market persists.

In this series, we identify potentially impactful datasets that are new to the investment management vertical. The intention of this piece is to highlight novel and unexplored datasets that may be worth considering. While we cannot speak to the exact utility of the data products listed below, we believe some datasets could be worth evaluating as they cover market niches, may complement existing established vendors and provide unique insights derived from proprietary data sources.
