What unique value do I get from listing my product?

Neudata’s platform allows data vendors to advertise their products to institutional investors for free. Once listed, institutional investors can contact you directly by email or messages on the platform. Unlike other marketplaces, we do not charge data vendors for onboarding with institutional investors.

How often should I update my product listing?

You should update the product listing every 6 months, or when a change has occurred in the product. For example, if you have expanded the coverage of the dataset, it would be important that the listing is reflects the update and remains accurate.

Why can't I edit listing titles?

We do not allow data vendors to edit listing titles. However, if you reach out to dp_service_help@neudata.co, we can change existing titles.

How can I discontinue a product?

If the product is no longer available or being sold to investment firms, please reach out to dp_service_help@neudata.co so we can mark the product as discontinued.

How will I know if an investment client is interested in a product?

Investment clients will reach out to you through the platform or they will ask Neudata to connect you with them to engage in conversation. Neudata does not participate in these conversations.

How should I price my product?

The pricing of a product can vary depending on different data characteristics, including coverage, frequency of data delivery, the length of historical data and data mapping details (such as being mapped to tickers or company IDs if applicable).

It’s common for data vendors to use a tiered pricing model depending on whether customers access the full product or just a portion (e.g. global vs US only). Some data companies may adjust pricing to stay competitive by aligning it with similar offerings from industry peers. For further information on how you could price the product, please reach out to consulting@neudata.co.

Why should I offer a free trial?

Investment firms rarely pay for trials as they want to see the value of the data before committing to a subscription. An institutional investor needs to see if the data works with its strategy and how much processing is required, including cleaning or aggregation. Investment firms may have queries regarding the data, and data vendors should try to respond in a timely manner.

Why should I complete a risk check?

The risk check makes investment clients aware of potential compliance limitations that can occur. We recommend completing the risk check to show that the dataset may be compliant.
