THIRD POINT VP JOINS VIKING

William Fu has joined Viking Global Investors as a data scientist.

There, he’ll focus on “bottom-up research using alternative data,” according to LinkedIn.

Prior to joining Viking, Fu worked as a vice president at Third Point, where he specialised in data science using alternative data and quantitative research. He previously spent nearly six years at AQR Capital Management.

 

FIEGLEMAN MOVES TO POINT72 VENTURES

Jessica Fiegleman has joined Point72 Ventures as head of proprietary research within its proprietary research group.

She previously spent over five years at Point72 within the firm’s market intelligence group, including as data strategy lead between 2017 and 2021. Prior to joining Point72, she worked at FactSet.

 

BALYASNY ADDS DATA ANALYST

Nicola Griggs has joined Balyasny Asset Management as a sector data analyst.

She previously spent six years at Blackrock, most recently as a data lead.

 

SENIOR DATA STRATEGIST JOINS BREVAN HOWARD

Joseph Aube has joined Brevan Howard as a senior data strategist.

He previously spent eight years at Bloomberg LP, most recently in enterprise data sales, where he sold to hedge funds and other alternatives investors.

 

FORGE PROMOTES NAGLE

Matt Nagle has been promoted to senior director of sales at Forge Data.

He previously spent a year as director of institutional sales and business development at Forge, which offers a data product that tracks real-time changes in private markets.

In July 2021, Neudata News reported that Nagle joined the vendor as its first hire for sales and business development for the new launch of Forge Data. He previously worked at ICE Data Services, Fitch Solutions and Dow Jones.
