Lorn Davis is the Head of Corporate & Product strategy at Facteus. Lorn brings in-depth experience in strategy development and product management from his work at SeraCare Life Sciences where he was the Senior Director of Data Products & Analytics and a member of the Executive Leadership Team that led the business to a successful exit at the end of 2018. Prior to joining SeraCare, he worked as a consultant leading data analytics teams engaged with large government and private organizations.
Lorn holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Mohammed has spent over 25 years on the buy-side in various technology, data science, quantitative modelling, alternative data analysis, risk and portfolio management roles where he built alternative data strategies and research platforms for top hedge funds such as Viking Global and Eton Park. Prior to joining Facteus, Mohammed was a founder & CEO of two alternative data fintech startups and most recently founded Quantamatics, Inc which was acquired by Facteus in mid 2021.
Ian heads the Client Engagement group at Neudata, as well as its busy programme of events. He has spent the last six years helping asset managers, investment banks and retailers to get value out of traditional and alternative data. Prior to that, Ian's experience encompassed analytical and commercial roles at Vodafone, Bank of Scotland and Liberty Mutual.
Ian holds an MA in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, and a Saltire Fellowship in Entrepreneurship from Babson College, Massachusetts.
Lauren is a recent graduate from University College London, with a Msc in Global Migration. Prior to this she attained her undergraduate degree at the University of Leeds in English and Film Studies with a research focus on postcolonial texts. As demonstrated through her studies, Lauren has an interest in literature and climate governance from a migration perspective, which she continues to explore in her spare time. Her previous work experience is in assisting the implementation of online events at Oxford University Press.
