Danielle Goldfarb

RIWI Corp Head of Global Research

Danielle Goldfarb is Head of Global Research at RIWI Corp. RIWI stands for “real-time interactive world-wide intelligence”. RIWI’s unique technology, originally developed for pandemic surveillance, breaks through noise to find the signal – by reaching the most diverse audiences, including the disengaged and quiet voices who do not typically answer surveys or express their views on social media. Danielle's research is on global trade, the global digital economy, real-time labour market data, and agile and predictive data around the world. Danielle is a 2021-23 Distinguished Fellow of The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada. In her 2019 Tedx talk, Danielle talks about the smartest way to predict the future. Before joining RIWI, Danielle held senior roles at several economic policy think tanks. Danielle has an M.Phil. in International Relations from Cambridge University and a B.Comm. in Honours Economics from McGill University.

Brian Kelleher

Morgan Stanley Head of AlphaWise Asia

Brian Kelleher is an executive director on the Asia research product team. Previously, he had been providing pan-Asia equity strategy aimed at Morgan Stanley's non-institutional investor client base. Brian joined Morgan Stanley in August 2011 from Citigroup, where he had been an Asia wealth management strategist in Hong Kong for the previous four years. Brian spent the first eight years of his career as a journalist covering financial services and markets for Reuters in Hong Kong and New York and graduated with a BA degree in economics from Wake Forest University in the US.

Roy Kimura

Rakuten Intelligence VP of Strategic Growth Initiatives

Roy Kimura is a VP of Strategic Growth Initiatives on the Financial Services team in Rakuten Advertising. He previously held a position of Director and Group Executive Officer in Rakuten Insight Global, Inc, formerly known as AIP Corporation, which was acquired by Rakuten, Inc. in October 2014. Roy spent more than 20 years in Tokyo, Singapore and New York for online marketing research industry and media business industry. Roy joined Rakuten Advertising in September 2018, and has been working for both US and Japan market for data business. He graduated with a BA degree in Policy Management from Keio University in Japan.

Dean Murphy

Neudata Commercial Director - Data Provider Products

Dean is responsible for leading, developing and expanding Neudata’s events programme.

Having spent the last decade creating, building and scaling conference and content businesses within the FinTech and Energy sectors, Dean has worked with some of the most recognisable global brands on B2B events of all sizes. Dean co-founded two conference companies in 2013 and exited through acquisition in early 2020.

Dean holds a BA Hons degree in Theatre and Performance Studies from Warwick University.

Nikolaos Petras

Abu Dhabi Investment Authority Head of Data Services, Central Investment Services Department

Mr. Nikolaos Petras is the Head of Data Services within the Central Investment Services Department
at ADIA, where he has worked for the last 8 years. His team looks after data acquisition & modelling,
core platforms product development and total portfolio data services. Nikolaos also drives the
strategy across Core & Alternative data including Data Analytics and adoption of Cloud Technologies
across data marketplaces.

Mr. Petras joined ADIA from MSCI and has held a variety of senior buy-side positions at Thomson
Reuters, FactSet Research Systems and Bloomberg with focus on Portfolio Analytics, Risk
Management and Quantitative Solutions.

Mr. Petras received his MSc in Finance and a BA in Business Economics from the University of
Reading, UK.

Shiong Tan

Kaizen Capital Founder & CEO

Shiong is a seasoned investment professional and business executive with over 20 years of experience. Prior to Kaizen, he was the Group CFO, COO and Board Member of Antuit, a data science company. He also co-founded CYFIRMA in 2016, a cybersecurity threat intelligence business. Before his operating career, Shiong spent 12 years between Blackstone, Ripplewood, and Intel Capital as a senior investment professional. Shiong was a Managing Director and senior member of Blackstone’s Asia-Pacific corporate private equity team, responsible for deal evaluation and execution.

Shiong holds an LLB (Hons.) and BSc from the University of Melbourne.

Alan Wong

Aurora Mobile Head of Financial Market Products

Alan Wong is the Head of Financial Market Products at Jiguang. Prior to this role, Alan spent over 15 years at investment banks including Morgan Stanley, Barclays and Citi as an equity research analyst and equity salesperson, in both New York and Hong Kong. Alan is a graduate of Cornell University.

Hengkui Wu

Super Symmetry CEO

Hengkui received his Ph.D. degree in particle physics from UC Davis. He had worked as a researcher in charge of building cosmic ray simulation and noise data analytics models for dark matter detection experiment Large Underground Xenon Detector.  He founded Supersymmetry Technologies with a vision of building a ubiquitous awareness layer as infrastructure of future algorithm-based society.

Steffen Zuncke

Neudata Director

Steffen is a director at Neudata, working predominately on relationship management with buy-side firms. Prior to Neudata, he worked at Preqin,who provide Private Equity and Hedge Fund research. Steffen holds a BSc and MSc in Economics, and is a CAIA charterholder.
