The new wave of interest in social responsibility is driving investors to incorporate ESG factors into their investment strategies, particularly as research shows that incorporating sustainable investment practices within portfolios can deliver stronger risk-adjusted returns.

Throughout his career, Nicholas has worked with organizations leading, teaming, and selling. Primarily his focus has been at the intersection of business and technology. At LexisNexis, Nicholas is responsible for North American business development as it pertains to innovation patent data sets. As one of the global leaders in patent data collection, LexisNexis has a unique perspective to provide data-driven insights and outcomes, primarily as it pertains to leveraging ESG and ESG related investment initiatives. Prior to joining LexisNexis, Nicholas was a member of consulting and research organizations, Forrester Research and SGA Inc.
Harun Dogo is an Executive Director in the Global Sustainable Finance group at Morgan Stanley, where he leads the Firm’s ESG data efforts, advances quantitative integration of sustainability into investment products across all asset classes, and oversees the development of digital tools for sustainable investing. Prior to joining the Firm, he was an economist at the World Bank, working on a wide range of sustainability and economic policy projects. Earlier in his career, he served on the staff of the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance and was a policy analyst at the RAND Corporation. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, he also holds graduate degrees in applied physics and irregular warfare from the Naval Postgraduate School, and in policy analysis from the Pardee RAND Graduate School.
Nick Mazing is Director of Research for Sentieo, a financial and corporate research platform for executives, investment analysts, and researchers. His career also includes having worked on both the buy side and on the sell side at Lehman Brothers. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and is based in Sentieo’s New York City office.
Matt worked at MSCI ESG Research for nearly ten years, developing the ESG Ratings model used by the largest institutional investors in the world. He chaired the MSCI ESG Research Editorial Committee, sat on the MSCI Research Editorial Board, co-created the MSCI ESG Now podcast, and wrote more than 100 investor papers, industry reports, and profiles in his time at MSCI. He's been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, NPR, Pensions and Investments, and other investor and business publications. He routinely lectures at business schools, including past discussions with students at Yale, Brown, University of Massachusetts, and others.
Prior to joining MSCI, Matt developed low-carbon investment programs and engaged directly with US pension funds and asset managers managing over USD 10 trillion in assets as a Manager at Ceres, a Boston-based non-profit. Matt also founded a hedge fund with a sustainability and resource scarcity theme before joining Ceres. He is a graduate of Brown University with a concentration in Computers and Music.
Dean is responsible for leading, developing and expanding Neudata’s events programme.
Having spent the last decade creating, building and scaling conference and content businesses within the FinTech and Energy sectors, Dean has worked with some of the most recognisable global brands on B2B events of all sizes. Dean co-founded two conference companies in 2013 and exited through acquisition in early 2020.
Dean holds a BA Hons degree in Theatre and Performance Studies from Warwick University.
Dr. Arindam Samanta leads property underwriting product management efforts in the areas of weather and natural hazards, including FireLine®, Verisk’s wildfire risk management tool for the insurance industry, and a range of other property risk assessment tools related to hail, wind, and lightning. Additionally, he supports ISO’s personal lines product innovation pipeline and agenda. Dr. Samanta did his academic and research work at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Caltech, and Boston University. Dan is a thought-leader at the intersection of data science, finance, and mathematics. After 9 years studying the physical sciences, Dan decided to apply his quantitative skill set to the field of equity research. In his current role, Dan leads original research projects, validates new alternative data sets, and builds better technology for Investment Management professionals.
Blake has been a leader in the oil and gas sector for more than 25 years. As founder and president of Scott Environmental Services and Scott Energy Technologies, Blake pioneered groundbreaking research and development in the drilling-waste recycling industry. Blake has received multiple awards and recognitions for his work, and has presented to organizations such as the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission, has served on ITRC’s Solidification/Stabilization Team, and was an expert for GRI’s Oil and Gas Sector Standard. Blake founded Waste Analytics in 2018 in order to provide data and risk information necessary to navigate the energy transition. Blake has a BA and MBA from Texas Christian University.
Kelci Zile leads Sustainability for AWS Data Exchange. She is responsible for connecting AWS customers across industries with the data they need to drive sustainability-related research, innovation and decision making. She primarily focuses on Environmental, Social and Governance data applications within the Financial Services, Consulting and Insurance space. She has been at Amazon for 5+ years, previously running international marketing for Prime Video Direct, and driving discovery of emerging video content. Kelci is also the Co-Chair for Inside Sustainability on the Amazon Global Sustainability Ambassadors Board.
