  Carlos Gomez is the Chief Investment Officer of Belobaba Crypto Fund.
  Is a CPA and Attorney from Australia currently living in Miami who has been involved in the crypto industry since 2015.
  With a combination of legal and financial skills, Carlos oversees the Investment decisions of the fund based on a wide range of data analytical tools and at the same time is well positioned to navigate the legal complexities that the crypto and blockchain industries faces.
  Previously to his current post, Carlos was the Performance Manager of a large State government fund (one of the few remaining jurisdictions with a AAA credit rating in the world).
  He was the Ambassador during 2020 of the Polkadot protocol in Miami and also has been a Board member of a very influential Non-For-Profit organization in Sydney.
  During his spare time, Carlos enjoys practicing Fencing (Foil) with his wife Elda.

  Sheena Shah is the head of the Cryptocurrency Research team. She was previously the head of G10 FX Strategy, based in Europe, and has been writing about cryptocurrencies for Morgan Stanley for several years. Sheena was ranked a top 3 FX analyst in the latest Institutional Investor Survey. Sheena uses a scientific approach to analyse markets, which she developed while previously working as a Computational Physicist at the University of Oxford. She holds a doctorate in Materials (Physics) and a Masters in Chemistry.

  James is the lead analyst at Glassnode, and has been contributing to the on-chain analysis discipline since its inception in ~2018. His background is in civil engineering, with past experience in the design of tunnels, mines, underground stations and deep foundations. He combines his experience in big data visualisation, with skills in explaining complex engineering topics, with a specialisation for analysing the Bitcoin market using the immutable data contained within the ledger itself.

  Kara A. Kuchar concentrates her practice on the regulation of financial services providers, and specifically, the regulation of money services businesses, payment processors, stablecoin issuers, cryptocurrency exchanges and fintech companies. Kara represents and advises leading fintech companies and private equity firms in transactional and regulatory matters associated with payments products and services, including e-commerce marketplaces, traditional brick and mortar money transmitters, cross-border B2B payment solution providers, prepaid card managers, payment processors, multi-currency wallet providers, cryptocurrency exchanges and emerging payments companies. She manages money transmitter and virtual currency licensing projects for companies of all sizes. She has advised a number of non-bank financial service providers regarding compliance with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations and guidance, including the establishment and enhancement of compliance management systems, implementing remittance rule programs and strengthening policies and procedures to prohibit unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices.

  Kelly Ye is Head of Index Research for CoinDesk Indices. In her role, she leads the research group in designing indices, providing thought leadership to expand CoinDesk’s offering of industry benchmarks and index-linked products. Kelly and her team develop new index strategies and educational content to support clients and investors. Kelly has 15 years of experience in leading investment research teams in both sell side and buy side firms. Before joining CoinDesk, Kelly was the Director of Research at IndexIQ. Prior, she led quantitative research for New York Life Investments’ Multi Asset Solutions team, led the quantitative research team for credit investing at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and began her career as a credit derivative structurer at BNP Paribas.

  Don is the General Counsel of Neudata. In addition to managing the company's legal affairs, Don leads the review of the compliance and regulatory aspects of new datasets and assists with product development. He previously served as Legal Counsel at Davidson Kempner Capital Management LP, where he onboarded third party research providers and conducted related due diligence. Don started his career as a research analyst on a merger arbitrage trading desk.

  Don holds a JD from the Fordham University School of Law and a BA from Washington University in St. Louis. He has received CIPP/E and CIPP/US certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

  Sunny holds an MSc in Risk and Finance from the University of Southampton. Prior to that, she graduated with a BSc in Business & Finance and a BS in Studio Art from Skidmore College, New York. At Neudata, Sunny leverages on the analytical skill sets acquired through her academic studies and previous experiences as a metadata researcher in Canada and USA. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering in local charities.

  Dean is responsible for leading, developing and expanding Neudata’s events programme.

  Having spent the last decade creating, building and scaling conference and content businesses within the FinTech and Energy sectors, Dean has worked with some of the most recognisable global brands on B2B events of all sizes. Dean co-founded two conference companies in 2013 and exited through acquisition in early 2020.

  Dean holds a BA Hons degree in Theatre and Performance Studies from Warwick University.
